 Sinosteel Raw Materials Company Limited, whose predecessor was China Metallurgical Raw Materials Cooperation, was established in 1988.It now belongs to Sinosteel Corporation abrreviated as Sinosteel. On the recently released Fortune Global 500 of 2010, Sinosteel, for the first time, got listed and ranked 352.
In March, 2009, Sinosteel Corporation Limited was established as a result of the reform of Sinosteel Corporation. As the subdiary of Sinosteel, Sinosteel Raw Materials Company has also reformed into a one-person liability limited company with its shares solely held by Sinosteel Corporation. The formerly used “Sinosteel Raw Materials Company” was replaced by “Sinosteel Raw Materials Company Limited” accordingly.
